New finance minister hopes to deepen cooperation with IMF

Acting finance minister of Ukraine Oksana Markarova hopes to deepen cooperation with the International Monetary Fund and other international partners.
"Speaking about the International Monetary Fund, which has strongly supported us after the crisis, I would like to say that the extended fund facility, along with the support from the international partners, has indeed enabled us to carry out important reforms. I really look forward to deepening this cooperation," Markarova said on the air of 112 Ukraine TV channel.
She noted that Ukraine had managed to secure macroeconomic stability and return to economic growth.
"We have been seen this growth for the second year in a row, the economy has been growing steadily. Is this enough? No, such growth is not enough. Therefore, one of the priorities is to maintain this economic growth," Markarova said.
