Volume of trade between Ukraine and the United States quadrupled over past year – Poroshenko

Volume of mutual trade and investments between Ukraine and the United States of America quadrupled over the past year.
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko stated this while speaking at the launch ceremony of the start-up complex of the grain terminal in Odesa region, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"In the United States, I had a meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump, the secretary of commerce and the secretary of state, and we agreed to dramatically increase cooperation with the United States. Today, we can already say that for the last year the volume of our mutual trade and investments quadrupled," Poroshenko said.
As reported, in June and September of 2017 President Petro Poroshenko paid a working visit to the United States of America, during which he met with U.S. President Donald Trump and other American officials.
