Grain among Ukraine’s main goods exported to Israel

This was informed at the business seminar on development of regional cooperation between Israel and Ukraine in the agricultural sector held in Kherson on Wednesday. The event was organized with the support of the Department of Agricultural Development of the Kherson Regional State Administration and the Association for Promotion of Cooperation between Israel and Ukraine and the CIS countries, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

"Before the trip, I talked to the commercial attache, with the minister, and they said that [annual] trade turnover between Israel and Ukraine is slightly less than a billion dollars. The main product [that Israel buys in Ukraine] is grain - mixed fodder, fodder grain and grain for bread," President of the Association for Promotion of Cooperation between Israel and Ukraine and the CIS countries Leon Tabakov said.

Other goods exported from Ukraine to Israel include metal, chemical products and some other products, the president of the association noted.
