Monetization of subsidies to begin from Jan 2019 - Groysman

Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has predicted that the monetization of subsidies for housing and utility services will start from January 1, 2019.
He said this at a visiting meeting of the Social Policy Ministry in Kharkiv on Thursday, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.
"The Social Policy Ministry is working on this issue today. We will be monetizing [subsidies] from January 1, 2019," Groysman said.
According to him, the introduction of monetization is necessary to remove any abuses in the system of subsidies.
