Ukraine’s industrial production grows 2.4% in January-March 2018 – State Statistics

Industrial production in Ukraine grew by 2.4% in January-March 2018 compared to the same period last year and by 1.4% in March compared to February, according to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.

“In January-March 2018, the industrial production index totaled 102.4% compared to January- March 2017, including the mining and quarry development industry – 102.3%, processing industry - 102.5%, the supply of electricity, gas, steam and conditioned air – 102.1%,“ reads the report.

In March 2018, the seasonally adjusted index of industrial production totaled 98.6% against February 2018, and the index of industrial products adjusted for the effect of calendar days in March 2018 made up 101.6% compared to March 2017.

According to the State Statistics, the data cover all regions of Ukraine, except for the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, as well as parts of the ATO zone in eastern Ukraine.
