Local budget revenues expected to reach UAH 230 bln in 2018 - Zubko

Local budget revenues are expected to grow to UAH 230 billion in 2018, according to preliminary estimations.

Deputy Prime Minister - Minister for Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities Hennadiy Zubko said this at a conference call with regional officials, which was dedicated to the issues of decentralization reform and priority projects in 2018, the minister’s press service reports.

According to Zubko, “in January-March 2018, the general fund of local budgets received UAH 51.6 billion. An increase in revenues compared with the corresponding period last year made up UAH 10 billion”.

Zubko also stressed that revenue growth rates above average in Ukraine were recorded in 13 regions. The highest rates were seen in Poltava, Sumy and Volyn regions, he added.
