Ukrtransgaz: 7.5 bcm of natural gas remained in underground storage facilities

As of April 4, 7.5 billion cubic meters (bcm) of natural gas remained in Ukraine’s underground gas storage facilities.

PJSC Ukrtransgaz, the operator of Ukraine's gas transportation system, reported this.

"In January-March 2018, 7 bcm of natural gas was pumped from underground gas storage facilities, which is 900 million cubic meters or 15% more than in January-March 2017. As of April 4, 2018, there was 7.5 bcm of natural gas in the underground gas storage facilities of Ukraine,” the company said.

Ukrtransgaz also reminded that Ukraine started the year 2018 with 14.7 bcm of gas, which was the largest gas stock as of the beginning of the year in the last five years.
