Two more low-cost airlines may launch flights to Boryspil airport - Pavlo Riabikin
Director General of Boryspil International Airport Pavlo Riabikin said this in an interview with LIGA.net.
"EasyJet is so far interested only in one direction - Berlin, but there is a problem with frequencies. German low-cost Germanwings is interested in this direction too," he said.
At the same time, due to frequency restrictions between the airports of Frankfurt, Berlin and Munich, the airline has not confirmed anything yet.
"Although this issue is being discussed for the second year, I am optimistic," Riabikin said.
As reported, Ukraine and Irish low-cost Ryanair agreed that the company would start flights from Ukraine in the autumn of 2018.
Also, Italy’s Ernest Airlines announced it would launch new flights from Kyiv International Airport in June 2018.
