Ukraine-Iraq direct passenger flights resumed

April 3, 2018, a plane of the Iraqi Airways, which made the first flight on Baghdad-Kyiv route, has landed at the Boryspil International Airport.

"Today, on April 3, a plane of the Iraqi Airways, which made the first flight on Baghdad-Kyiv route, landed at the Boryspil International Airport at 15:06. The flight was made by Boeing 737-800 with registration number YI-ASV,” the Centre for Transport Strategies reports.

As specified, the flight lasted almost four hours.

The Boryspil International Airport representatives confirmed that thus the direct passenger flights between Iraq and Ukraine were resumed.
