Transit of Russian gas via Ukraine increased by 21.3% in March

Russian natural gas volumes supplied via Ukraine increased by 21.3% in March 2018 compared to March 2017 and totaled 8.1 billion cubic meters. 

These data are provided by the press service of PJSC "Ukrtransgas" in accordance with the operational data of the Central Dispatch Department of the branch "GTS Operator of Ukraine".

"The average daily transit in March of this year amounted to 260 million cubic meters, which is almost 50 million per day, or 22% more than in February 2018," the statement reads.

According to the results of the first quarter of 2018, the transit of gas from the Russian Federation through the territory of Ukraine decreased to 20.1 billion cubic meters, which is 3.1 billion cubic meters or 13.3% less than over the first three months of last year.
