The State Property Fund of Ukraine transferred UAH 5.36 billion to the state budget for 2017. The revenues from privatization totalled UAH 3.38 billion.

"Last year, the Fund transferred UAH 5.36 billion to the state budget. In particular, the revenues from privatization amounted to UAH 3.38 billion, being the largest for the last five years," acting chief of the State Property Fund of Ukraine Vitaly Trubarov wrote on Facebook.

He noted that the budget had received UAH 1.06 billion from the rent of the state property. UAH 0.93 billion in revenues from the dividends and a part of the net profit of business entities were also transferred.

"I believe that one of the main results of the Fund’s activity was the preparation of the new legislative framework for privatization on completely new principles and approaches, which created the prerequisites for successful sales of the entities this year. Transparent, competitive privatization is an important reform, which has started with the adoption and signing of a new law on privatization," Trubarov said.
