Ukrainian infrastructure minister plans to build five new runways every year

It is necessary to provide UAH 10 billion in the state budget for the next year for repair and construction of new runways.
Ukrainian Infrastructure Minister Volodymyr Omelian said this at the field meeting in Ivano-Frankivsk "Development of transport infrastructure of Carpathian region of Ukraine as a key condition for its social and economic growth", an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"It would be good to provide UAH 10 billion in the budget of Ukraine for the next year for repair and construction of new runways. If we have this money, we will be able to build five quality airports every year, creating new infrastructure, new quality service for Ukrainians," Omelian said.
