Ukraine’s Government expects that Kyiv's Boryspil Airport and Irish low-cost airline Ryanair will sign an agreement on cooperation by the end of the week.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said this at a government meeting, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"The Investment Office at the Infrastructure Ministry has informed that Boryspil airport effectively completed negotiations with Ryanair airline. In accordance with these negotiations, Boryspil airport introduces a new system of rates, which means that all airlines that work today with the airport will reduce the fee," Groysman said.

He stresses that such innovation should positively influence the cost of air tickets for Ukrainians, and the flights should be more accessible.

"We expect that by the end of the week the agreement between Boryspil and Ryanair will be signed, and Ryanair will determine a date to start flying," Groysman stressed.
