Cabinet endorses establishment of UkraineInvest state agency

The Government approved the corresponding order at its meeting on Wednesday, March 21, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

Pursuant to the order, the permanent advisory body under the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Investment Promotion Office (UkraineInvest), becomes a state agency.

The Office has been operating in Ukraine since 2016, aiming to attract investments and provide investors with the relevant information about the peculiarities of doing business in the country as well as about the activities in the key sectors of the economy (agribusiness, manufacturing, energy, infrastructure and innovation technology). UkraineInvest contributes to the coordination of the executive authorities' activities in resolving the problems that arise when investing in the Ukrainian economy.
