NBU bought $50 mln at today’s auction

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) at the foreign exchange auction on March 7 bought $58.80 million, according to the press service of the central bank.
The NBU noted that market participants submitted bids worth $68.7 million.
As a result of the auction, the minimum exchange rate of hryvnia was UAH 26.1 per U.S. dollar, the maximum stood at UAH 26.1190 per U.S. dollar, and the average weighted exchange rate was UAH 26.1119 per U.S. dollar.
Earlier, the NBU announced plans to buy up to $100 million at the foreign exchange auction on March 7.
