Roads in Ukraine will be brought to a good condition over the next three to five years, Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has reported on his Facebook page.
"Ukrainian roads will be in very good condition over the next three to five years. Ninety-five percent of roads in Ukraine were destroyed. Ukravtodor was in debt, nothing worked, and there were no projects for the construction and repair of roads. We unblocked Ukravtodor's accounts, replaced the leadership, and started to launch projects. Ukrainian roads will change radically," he said.
Groysman recalled that 928 kilometers of roads were built and repaired in 2016 and 2,177 kilometers in 2017.
"Almost UAH 47 billion is to be spent in 2018 on the construction and repair of roads," he said.
