"Within the framework of the third session of the Intergovernmental Ukrainian-Indonesian Commission for Economic and Technical Cooperation, today, February 21, the Ukraine-Indonesia business forum is held at the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. This is a great opportunity to open the market of the largest economy of Southeast Asia. Indonesia occupies the fourth place by population and the tenth place by the size of economy in the world," the report says.
The program of the forum provides for a plenary part and B2B-negotiations.
The forum is organized by the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The forum is held with the active support of the embassies of both countries.
As a reminder, according to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, the foreign trade turnover between Ukraine and Indonesia in January-November of 2017 amounted to 593.5 million dollars and increased by 14.3% compared to the corresponding period of 2016. At the same time, the export amounted to 350.5 million dollars and increased by 11%, and the import amounted to 243 million dollars and increased by 9.4%.
Indonesia remains one of Ukraine's largest trade partners in the Southeast Asian region.
