European Union expects that Ukraine approves transport strategy 2030 this week

Ukrainian Infrastructure Minister Volodymyr Omelyan said this at a briefing on the results of a meeting with the European Commission's Director-General for Mobility and Transport, Henrik Hololei, in the framework of the Ukraine-EU transport dialogue, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"The transport strategy of Ukraine 2030 has been prepared, and now we are waiting for the next Cabinet’s meeting for its approval," the official said.

According to Henrik Hololei, the EU also hopes that the strategy will adopted as early as this week.

"Together with my colleagues, we very much hope that the national transport strategy of Ukraine will be adopted this week. This document is very important from the point of view of formulating the strategic directions and priorities of Ukraine, as well as our cooperation in this field," he said.
