Ukraine gets Boeing 777-200ER aircraft - UIA

Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) has expanded its fleet with Boeing 777-200ER aircraft, which will perform flights to the United States and Asia.

The company said this in a press release available to Ukrinform.

“On Friday, February 16, the fleet of Ukraine International Airlines expanded with a new aircraft - long-range wide-body Boeing 777-200ER aircraft," reads the report.

“The aircraft is officially registered in Ukraine under the number UR-GOA. The aircraft accommodates 361 passengers in three-class seating configuration- business, premium economy and economy class. UIA plans to operate the aircraft on long-haul flights to New York, Beijing and Bangkok, the company said.

UIA received the aircraft from AerCap, the world’s largest aircraft leasing company.

UIA operates 43 aircraft including 27 medium-haul Boeing 737 NG aircraft. Currently, UIA fleet’s average age amounts to 11.9 years.
