Finance Minister Danyliuk, World Bank Vice President discuss implementation of structural reforms in Ukraine

Ukrainian Finance Minister Oleksandr Danilyuk and World Bank Vice President for Europe and Central Asia Cyril Muller discussed the implementation of structural reforms in Ukraine and cooperation with the World Bank.

"On February 14, Finance Minister Oleksandr Danilyuk and Deputy Finance Minister for European Integration Yuri Butsa met with World Bank Vice President Cyril Muller and World Bank Country Director for Belarus, Moldova, and Ukraine Satu Kahkonen. During the meeting, the parties discussed the implementation of structural reforms in Ukraine and Ukraine's cooperation with the World Bank," the press service of the Finance Ministry of Ukraine reports.

According to the press service, the representatives of the World Bank noted the progress in implementation of the key reforms in Ukraine. They also stressed that the World Bank would continue to provide advice on the implementation of pension reform and health care reform. In addition, Mr. Muller noted that the World Bank supported the conduct of corporate governance reforms in Ukrainian state-owned banks, creation of the land market, reform of the energy sector and would continue to promote their implementation.
