Ryanair to start flights to Ukraine this autumn - infrastructure minister

Irish low-cost airline Ryanair will start flights to Ukraine from the autumn of 2018, Infrastructure Minister Volodymyr Omelyan has said in an interview with the Hromadske.TV Internet television station.

According to him, the exact date of the presentation of flights is not known yet, but it will be held in February or March.

He also noted that Ryanair would launch flights to Boryspil and Lviv.

"Formally, it is necessary to bring the procedure to its end," Omelyan said.

Ryanair suspended negotiations with Ukraine in early July 2017 due to the absence of agreements with Kyiv's Boryspil Airport.

Later, Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman stated that Ukraine would resume talks with the low-cost airline.
