Poroshenko invites Austrian companies to participate in competition for Ukrainian GTS management

He said this during a joint press conference with Federal Chancellor of Austria Sebastian Kurz in Vienna, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Speaking of the energy cooperation with Austria, we will be glad to invite Austrian companies to take part in the competition for the Ukrainian GTS management. We are convinced that this is a profitable and effective economic project,” the Head of State said.

Poroshenko also called the Nord Stream 2 a “political project with no economic sense.”

As reported, President Petro Poroshenko made an official visit to Vienna on February 8 at the invitation of Federal President of the Republic of Austria Alexander Van der Bellen.
