Government may raise minimum wage after the first quarter of 2018 – Rozenko

The government will consider the issue of another increase in the minimum wage to UAH 4,100 after the first quarter of the current year.

Vice Prime Minister Pavlo Rozenko stated this in an interview with the Argumenty i Fakty weekly newspaper, the government’s press service reports.

“During the consideration of the state budget for 2018, the president of Ukraine offered that the issue of raising the minimum wage to UAH 4,100 be considered following the results of the first quarter. I support this idea and believe that there will be all opportunities for this," Rozenko stressed.

He also added that the average wage may exceed UAH 10,000 in October-November 2018.
