A team of experts from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) will visit the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, next week, for meetings with Ukrainian government representatives.

IMF Resident Representative in Ukraine Goesta Ljungman said this on Wednesday, February 7, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"A team of several IMF experts will be visiting Kyiv from February 12 to February 16 to conduct technical discussions with representatives of the Ukrainian authorities," he said.

It was not reported in more detail about the program of IMF experts, as well as who they will meet in Ukraine.

Ukraine continues its cooperation with the IMF as part of the Extended Fund Facility (EFF). The fund's program foresees the allocation of about $17.5 billion within four years. The Ukrainian side has already received four tranches. It is expected that in 2018, Ukraine can get another $3.5 billion.
