Government establishes Export Credit Agency

The Cabinet of Ministers at its meeting on Wednesday approved a resolution on the creation of an Export Credit Agency in Ukraine.
“This is a draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers aimed at implementing the law on ensuring the large-scale expansion of export of goods produced in Ukraine. We are speaking about the implementation of the medium-term plan of the government's priorities for 2020," said First Vice Prime Minister -Minister for Economic Development and Trade Stepan Kubiv, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
According to him, the agency's task will be to protect exporters from risks of financial losses, insure exporters and contractors, support exports with added value, promote modernization of enterprises in Ukraine, etc.
