Lviv International Airport sees a 46% rise in passenger flow in January 2018

Lviv International Airport saw an increase in passenger flow by 46.3% in January 2018 compared with the same period last year, according to a report posted on the airport’s official Facebook page.

“A total of 85.6 thousand passengers used air services over the first month of 2018, which is 46.3% more compared with January 2017 (58.5 thousand passengers) and 6.2% more compared with December 2017 (80.6 thousand passengers),” reads the report.

In particular, in January 2018, the number of passengers served on international flights grew by 54.8% (71.5 thousand), on domestic flights – 14.6% (14.1 thousand).

The number of flights totaled 933, which is 38.9% more compared with the same period last year (715) and 11.4% more compared with December 2017.

As Ukrinform earlier reported, Lviv International Airport in 2017 saw an increase in passenger flow by 46.3% compared with 2016. The airport served 1.80 million passengers last year.
