Privatization to be carried out in line with new law in June - deputy economic development minister

In June 2018, first auctions for the sale of state property will be held in line with the new privatization law, No.7066, according to Deputy Minister for Economic Development and Trade Maxim Nefyodov.
"The first lots will be launched in May, and the first auctions will be held in June," he said at a press conference at the Crisis Media Center, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
The new law is expected to be signed by President Petro Poroshenko in February. At the same time, the government has already begun implementing the regulations of the new law, Nefyodov noted.
As Ukrinform earlier reported, the Verkhovna Rada on January 18 adopted the law on the privatization of state property (No.7066). From now on, privatization will be regulated by one law instead of seven.
