The Ukrainian Government expects to receive telecommunication equipment worth more than $1.5 million from the People's Republic of China.

A draft memorandum on non-repayable aid between the two countries was published on the Governmental portal.

"Within the framework of this project, the Economic Development and Trade Ministry of Ukraine received telecommunication equipment worth CNY 10 million (over USD 1.5 million) under non-repayable aid," the statement reads.

The Cabinet authorized First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of Economic Development and Trade Stepan Kubiv to sign the document.

This will allow the parties to formally complete their internal administrative procedures for the implementation of the project envisaged by the agreement between the Governments of Ukraine and the People's Republic of China on providing the Economic Development and Trade Ministry of Ukraine with the telecommunication equipment.
