State Aviation Service: Domestic air passenger traffic last year increased by 17.6%

As of year-end 2017, a total of 930,900 passengers were transported by regular domestic flights, which is 17.6% more than in 2016.
The State Aviation Service of Ukraine announced the relevant data.
"Throughout the year, the intensification of regular transportation within Ukraine was observed. Regular internal air passenger transportation between nine cities of Ukraine was carried out by five domestic airlines: 930,900 passengers were transported, which is 17.6 percent more as compared to 2016," the statement reads.
As noted in the State Aviation Service, the Ukrainian air passenger market demonstrated high growth rates for the second consecutive year.
