Ukrinform
Italians are ready to participate in the promising infrastructure projects of Kyiv.

This was discussed during a meeting of Deputy Head of Kyiv City State Administration Dmytro Davtian with President of the Italferr company Riccardo Maria Monti, which took place in the framework of the Ukrainian-Italian business forum, the press service of the Kyiv authorities reported.

"This cooperation is interesting and useful for us, as we are talking about promising projects with the leaders in this field who have many years of practical experience in significant projects. I think that it will be appropriate to use their experience in the capital, and we will get both the modern projects implemented by specialists and the opportunity to adopt their best practices. In addition, I hope that we will manage to agree on investing, and this will accelerate the implementation of important and useful for the city facilities," Davtian said.

According to Riccardo Maria Monti, Italferr has a successful experience in the construction of general and high-speed railway, ground and underground transport and in the engineering design of ports and stations in Italy and abroad. According to him, Italians will consider the infrastructure projects, which are being prepared for implementation in Kyiv, in order to participate in tenders for the implementation of the most promising.

As it was reported, a few days ago, the press service of the Infrastructure Ministry of Ukraine informed that Ukraine and Italy started to prepare the technical and economic documentation for the launch of the high-speed railway lines in Ukraine. The agreement was reached after the meeting of Infrastructure Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Omelian and Chairman of the Italferr company Riccardo Maria Monti.
