He said this during a meeting with the staff of one of the processing enterprises of Ternopil region, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"This year, we will have tools for a qualitative breakthrough in the agricultural sector. The decisions have been already taken on this issue," Groysman said.
He was talking about direct support programs for farmers, compensation for the cost of construction of new commercial dairy farms and cheaper credits for such construction, compensation for the cost of agricultural equipment of domestic production, as well as installments to pay VAT when importing unique equipment and processing lines.
According to him, the task is to raise our economy and create new enterprises. This refers to all fields. "For example, today we pay great attention to the construction of roads, but we say that the main task is not just to build roads but to build Ukraine," he said.
As Ukrinform reported, the prime minister was making a working trip to Ternopil region on January 26.
