World Bank President willing to support reforms in Ukraine

President of the World Bank Group Jim Yong Kim expressed his willingness to continue supporting Ukraine in implementation of structural economic reforms during a meeting with President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko in Davos.

This is reported by the press service of the Head of State.

"The President of the World Bank Group expressed willingness to continue supporting Ukraine in the implementation of structural reforms in the economy," the statement reads.

Jim Yong Kim also praised the adoption of the law on privatization by the Verkhovna Rada.

The parties supported the need to establish an independent Anticorruption Court in compliance with the Constitution of Ukraine and the recommendations of the Venice Commission.

Particular attention was paid to the implementation of the Ukrainian President's initiative on the development of rural medicine in Ukraine, taking into account the best world practices.
