Poroshenko, Plenkovic discuss Ukraine's participation in Croatia's energy projects

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has met with Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic as part of his visit to Davos to attend the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum, the press service of the head of state has reported.

"The Ukrainian president expressed gratitude to the Croatian prime minister for the consistent support of Ukraine's territorial integrity and sovereignty, as well as for the active political, humanitarian and expert assistance Zagreb provides to our country at the bilateral level… They also discussed prospects of Ukraine's participation in the energy projects implemented in Croatia aimed at strengthening Europe's energy security," reads the statement.

Poroshenko thanked Plenkovic for Croatia's co-authorship of the UN General Assembly resolution on Crimea adopted in December 2017.

The parties expressed content with the launch of the practical work of the bilateral working group on the study of the unique experience of Croatia in the peaceful reintegration of the temporarily occupied territories.
