Polish Ambassador to Ukraine Jan Pieklo said this during the conference "Experience of Poland, Norway and Ukraine in field of improving energy efficiency of urban economy", which is being held by the Association of Ukrainian Cities, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"Polish-Ukrainian-Norwegian cooperation is a new element in the field of energy efficiency. There is also direct cooperation between Polish cities and Ukrainian cities and there is a great potential for financing from the European Union. Reform in the field of energy efficiency produces results," Pieklo said.
The Ambassador noted that the energy efficiency industry was dynamically developing. According to him, cities from different countries can cooperate in this direction with the support of local government and learn from each other, exchange experiences. He also noted that Poland was an active participant in this process.
The project "Polish-Norwegian assistance for improving energy efficiency in Ukraine" lasts from February 2017 to March 2018.
