Ukraine may place eurobonds in the first half of 2018, Ukrainian Finance Minister Oleksandr Danyliuk has said in an interview with Reuters.

"Ukraine may again enter international capital markets in the first half of 2018 and take into account the proposals of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in the law on the Anti-Corruption Court," the minister said.

He also noted that the receipt of funds through the sale of eurobonds does not weaken the country's desire to reform.

"There are financial needs, and I, as finance minister, have to meet these needs. Whenever markets are ready, when we have the best time, we have to use the market," Danyliuk said.

"We have plans for this year, and investors are waiting for us," Danyliuk said, adding that such an "opportunity" may appear before the end of June.
