Trade with Russian Federation meets current legislation – Kubiv

First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Stepan Kubiv states that Ukraine’s trade regime, in particular, with the Russian Federation meets the current legislation.

He said this at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada during an hour of questions to the government, answering the question of MP Yehor Sobolev regarding the trade of Ukraine with the Russian Federation, which was recognized as an aggressor, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"Trade, which we have today, meets the current legislation and the integrity of Ukraine, and we are talking about citizens who today reside on the territory of Ukraine," Kubiv said.

On January 18, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the law on the peculiarities of the state policy on ensuring Ukraine's state sovereignty over temporarily occupied territories in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, and Russia was recognized as an aggressor. A total of 280 MPs voted for this law.
