PM Groysman forecasts increase in average salary up to UAH 10,000

The Cabinet of Ministers forecasts an increase in the average salary of Ukrainians up to UAH 10,000 [about $347] according to the results of the year.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman said this in an interview with Novoye Vremya portal, the press service of the government informed.

"We managed to reach the average salary of UAH 7,400 in the country [according to the results of 2017]. Now it is more than UAH 8,000. We believe that the average salary will be UAH 10,000 this year," Groysman said.

At the same time, he stresses that the growth of incomes occurs and will occur faster than the price rise.
