Ukrainian airlines carried 10.6 million passengers in 2017

Ukrainian airlines carried about 10.6 million passengers in 2017, which is 27.5% more than in 2016.

 “In 2017, the volume of passenger-carrying operations of Ukrainian airlines increased by 27.5% compared to 2016 and totaled 10 million 554 thousand 400 people. The volume of international passenger-carrying operations grew by 28.6% and totaled 9 million 613 thousand 600 people,” reads the report of the State Aviation Service of Ukraine.

The passenger traffic flow through the airports of Ukraine increased by 27.6% and totaled 16 million 499 thousand 500 people, including in the international direction – by 29.2% and totaled 14 million 591 thousand 700 people.

In 2017, Ukrainian airlines operated 92,200 commercial flights (an increase of 16.0% compared to 2016), including 77,700 international flights (an increase of 14.4%).
