Teacher's salary to grow in January – Ukraine’s education minister

An average salary of a Ukrainian teacher will increase up to UAH 7,600 in January of 2018, according to preliminary calculations of the Education and Science Ministry.
Education and Science Minister of Ukraine Lilia Hrynevych said this during a working visit to Chernivtsi region, the press service of the Education and Science Ministry reported.
"Two resolutions that regulate the increase in salaries for teachers have been passed at a government meeting today. In particular, we increased the amount of maximum wage premium for teachers to 30%," she said.
According to her, the amount of the maximum wage premium for teachers rises from 20% to 30%. The lower limit of the wage premium is set at the level of 5%.
