New chairperson of PrivatBank Management Board appointed

The Supervisory Board of PrivatBank on January 10, 2018 appointed Petr Krumphanzl as Chairperson of the Management Board.

“On January 10, 2018 the Supervisory Board of PrivatBank appointed Petr Krumphanzl as Chairperson of the Management Board and applied to the National Bank of Ukraine for approval of his candidacy,” the bank’s press service reports.

According to Engin Akcakoca, the Chairperson of the Supervisory Board. During the process of evaluating the candidates for the Management Board of PrivatBank, the Board was “primarily guided by such criteria as high professionalism, work experience in leading EU banks, result orientation, strong operations management and control track record”.

“Petr meets all these basic requirements, and he has already proved in practice his ability to effectively reorganize the weak sides of banks,” the Chairperson of the Supervisory Board noted.

Petr Krumphanzl was born in 1966 and graduated from Charles University in Prague with a Doctors degree in mathematics in 1990.

In July 2017, the Supervisory Board of PrivatBank selected international recruiting company Amrop Executive Search Ukraine to select candidates for the positions of CEO and CFO of PrivatBank.
