More than 2 mln tons of sugar produced in Ukraine

As of January 9, 2018, Ukraine produced 2.018 million tons of sugar and processed 14.07 million tons of sugar beet.
Ukrinform learnt this from the press service of the Ukrtsukor national association of sugar producers.
"The sugar production reached 2.018 million tons and already exceeded the volume of production in 2017. However, this figure is not yet final, since four sugar refineries out of 46 continue their production season," the head of the analytical department of Ukrtsukor said.
