The Deposit Guarantee Fund last week sold insolvent banks’ assets worth UAH 273.07 million, the fund’s press service reports.
“Last week, the first week of the new year, the general sum from the sale of assets of 26 banks, which are in the management of the Fund, totaled UAH 273.07 million,” reads a report.
In particular, UAH 263.43 million was obtained in repayment of the fund creditors' claims and UAH 9.20 million was received from the sale of main banks’ assets. Also, UAH 0.29 million was received from the sale of other assets (coins, paintings, etc.) and UAH 0.15 million – from the direct sale of banks’ property.
