President Poroshenko signs law on ratification of investment encouragement and protection agreement with OFID

"President Petro Poroshenko signed the Law of Ukraine "On Ratification of the Agreement for the Encouragement and Protection of Investment between Ukraine and the OPEC Fund for International Development", which was adopted by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on December 5, 2017," the statement reads.

As noted, the agreement creates a legal framework for the development of bilateral cooperation and attraction of investments and grant resources of the Fund, including to the public sector.

The delegation of Ukraine held talks on the conclusion of the Agreement for the Encouragement and Protection of Investment between Ukraine and the OPEC Fund for International Development. The document was signed in Vienna on May 26, 2017.
