Deposit Guarantee Fund gets UAH 4.4 bln from the sale of insolvent banks’ assets

Revenues from the sale of insolvent banks’ assets amounted to UAH 4.4 billion at the beginning of December, the Deposit Guarantee Fund’s press service reports.
"At the beginning of December, revenues from the sale of insolvent banks’ assets amounted to UAH 4.4 billion. Next year, the Fund intends to double this figure and sale 60% of all assets by the end of 2018,” reads the report.
In general, almost UAH 9 billion was accumulated on the accounts of insolvent banks. At the same time, the creditor claims of the third line were repaid in the amount of UAH 5.83 billion in 2017. Repayments of others, except for the first-third lines, made up UAH 3.79 billion.
