PM Groysman wants export-credit agency to start operating as soon as possible

Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has stated the export-credit agency should be launched as soon as possible.

He said this during a special meeting in an expanded format with the participation of the Economic Development and Trade Ministry’s representatives, MPs and experts, the government’s press service reports.

The prime minister reminded that the Ukrainian producers now are entering new markets almost independently, and the launch of tools to support exporters will help not only expand the geography of product supplies but also increase production volumes, which in turn will promote economic growth.

At the same time, the head of government drew attention to the fact that it is necessary to start the work on supporting exporters as soon as possible - transparently, understandably and firstly in the key industry sectors. "Thus, we will increase production volumes, and our international partners will look at us in a different way," Groysman said.
