Ukraine working on industrial development strategy – Kubiv

First Vice Prime Minister – Economic Development and Trade Minister Stepan Kubiv said this at the annual press conference, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"The volume of sold industrial products for nine months of this year increased by 25% compared to the same period of last year. The metallurgy and machine building industry grew by 26%, the metalworking industry - by 24%, the production of special-purpose equipment - by 34%. The work on the strategy of industrial development is being completed," Kubiv said.

He recalled that in 2017 the Government launched a program to support the Ukrainian producers of agricultural machinery.

"More than 500 farmers received UAH 200 million in compensation for the purchase of agricultural equipment. The amount of financing for agricultural machinery in the budget 2018 was increased up to UAH 1 billion," Kubiv said.
