During 10 months of 2017, the volume of trade turnover in Ukraine increased by 24%, while the volume of exports grew by 20.9%.

Deputy Minister of  Economic Development and Trade – Ukraine’s Trade Representative Natalia Mykolska said this at a press conference, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"For 10 months, we have an increase in turnover by 24% or UAH 14.619 billion. Accordingly, we say that we have the export growth, and it continues at the level of 20.9%, and, in general, our exports amounted to USD 35.183 billion," Mykolska said.

At the same time, she stresses that the trade balance is still negative, but there is no "critical situation". This happens due to the fact that the inflow of investments into Ukraine is increasing, and, as a rule, the imports are growing during the investment processes.
