Finance Ministry: UAH 83 billion of VAT refunds paid to businesses since April 2017

Since the launch of the new transparent VAT refund register, about UAH 83.2 billion of VAT refunds have been paid to businesses.
Finance Minister Oleksandr Danyliuk stated this at a press conference on the ministry's achievements in 2017 and plans for the future, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"The launch of the transparent VAT refund register was one of the greatest anti-corruption achievements of the Finance Ministry over this year. During the operation of the new system, UAH 83.2 billion has been reimbursed," said Danyliuk.
As Ukrinform reported, on April 1, 2017, the electronic register of applications on VAT refunds from the budget was put into operation. VAT refunds are paid transparently without any failures.
