Ukraine, Portugal sign memorandum on cooperation in energy efficiency and renewable energy

"On December 18, within the framework of the official visit of Ukrainian President Poroshenko to Portugal, Chairman of the State Energy Efficiency Agency Serhiy Savchuk took part in the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding on Energy Efficiency, Renewable Energy and Alternative Fuels between the State Agency on Energy Efficiency of Ukraine and the National Directorate of Energy and Geology of Portugal," the report reads.

The signing of the memorandum initiates a close and effective cooperation between Ukraine and Portugal, which has great achievements in the development of clean energy.

"Ukraine and Portugal will be able to exchange the best practices in the development of renewable energy and energy efficiency, as well as work on the implementation of joint projects," the press service of the SAEE noted.
