NBU expects to receive two tranches worth $3.5 bln from IMF in 2018

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) expects to receive two tranches worth $3.5 billion from the IMF in 2018.

Deputy Chairman of the NBU Dmytro Solohub stated this at a briefing on Thursday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"Until the end of this year, we definitely will not receive a tranche from the IMF, but next year we expect to receive two tranches totaling $3.5 billion," Solohub said.

As Ukrinform reported, earlier the NBU expected Ukraine to receive a tranche of $2 billion from the IMF in the first quarter of 2018 and another tranche of $1.5 billion over the same year.
